Now Hiring - Roofing Sales Specialist in Moore, OK

We are looking for a highly motivated Roofing Specialist to join our team! Roofing experience is not required. As a company, we have set goals for this position. Depending on your efforts, you have the opportunity to make a minimum of $60,000+ your first full year of employment!

What sets us apart from other companies? Our employees are all W2 employees, not 1099 or contract. You will be a full time employee, not an independent contractor. We do not door knock, we build meaningful relationships with customers and referring partners! This position is something that is consistent with time and salary. (base salary plus commission pay). We are in the process of offering employee benefits, you do not get that when you are 1099.

PURPOSE: The Roofing Specialist is a representative for Palladium Roofing. Responsibilities of this position will include; selling roofing products through established customer channels and new customers who specialize in the distribution of roofing products to contractors. The roofing specialist will reach the business targets through effective management of the designated territory, prospecting and physical visits to customer sites (distributors and contractors). New customer development is especially important to reaching territory targets and will required continued focus from the roofing specialist. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with all customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

o Develop leads through personal marketing in conjunction with company marketing plans

Meet with homeowners

o Inspect roofs and property to determine the scope of damage and need for repair

o Roof completion Walkthrough

o Work with insurance companies and adjusters as required

o Assist customers in selecting materials and colors used for the job

o Collect payment for services completed

o Develop referrals and generate positive reviews and follow up

o Maintain and foster relationships with customers ensuring the customer’s needs are being met.

o Emphasize product features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.

o Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.

o Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold-calling if necessary.

o Maintain accurate records; including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, self-generated reviews, pre-production documentation, and other documentation.

o Assist in creating request for proposal (RFP) or estimations to respond to potential clients.

o Represent company and perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products at professional shows and trade exhibitions

o May perform other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Frequent local travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day. Overtime as required. This position involves exposure to most areas of the facility with the majority of essential functions carried out in at customers home and outside.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to navigate stairs and equipment areas including catwalks surrounding equipment and climb on roofs. The employee will require regular use of hands and arms and may be required to lift or carry up to 30 lbs. This position involves standing for extended periods of time, sitting, walking as well as reaching, lifting, and kneeling abilities. This position requires the ability to see, hear and communicate with others.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

o 3 - 5 years sales experience within the Building Materials industry - roofing customers focus (Distribution and Contractors) is preferred.

o Valid “G” level driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.

o Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

o Able to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations in a professional manner.

o Strategic thinking and planning.

o Highly organized, self-motivated and able to contribute in a team environment.

o Applicant must be extremely self-motivated and able to work with minimal daily supervision.

o Must be of sound personal character and a positive representation of the values of our company (Integrity, honesty, respect, quality, customer-focused, etc.).

o Must have excellent communication skills.

o Must have necessary computer skills and be able to learn our company-specific CRM software.

o Independent Sales Reps are responsible for handling payments from customers therefore only applicants of the highest moral caliber will be considered.

o Intermediate English language reading, comprehension and communication skills are required; bilingual (English / Spanish) is helpful, but not required. The ability to use or learn to use basic Microsoft software products (email) and company specific MIS software is required.

o Prefer roofing or construction experience.

o Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials would be helpful,but not required.

o Experience in project costing and planning, recommended but not required.

o Previous sales experience not required, but a plus
